COVID-19 PPE

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for music classes during the COVID pandemic...

Music/Arts are essentials subjects for all students. Concerns about the risk of spread through participation in music ensembles have been raised world wide. Our first priority is student safety. Second is our desire to provide a quality well-rounded education for all students, including music.

Measures will be in place to prevent the spread of COVID throughout the school and especially in the music room. We hope to be able to provide the recommended instrument covers and specialty masks to all students in these classes. Special “personal protective equipment” (PPE) will be required for all instruments and musicians during music classes (unless specified medical conditions prevent individual student use, as per state mask mandate).

If you are able to help sew/make instrument covers and musician masks please see the following information for patterns and suggested material.

We are working on making instrument covers and special face masks for students in both middle school and high school bands and choirs. Any help is welcome, we are accepting donations of pre-made items, monetary contributions, and specific materials for us to make items. Please contact the school for donations.
