Metal cookie sheets (clean ones preferred)
Empty shoe boxes/Laundry Baskets
5-gallon buckets
large metal coffee/food cans

Instruments in the Cloud
"During an instrument donation in 2012, Mark Gehring, founder of Vega Productions found that some schools had a bounty of instruments sitting idle while other schools just miles away were in desperate need of those same instruments. Administrators and music teachers needed a way to connect and communicate with one another in order to share the instruments they had.
To address this issue, Vega Productions collaborated with St. Paul Public Schools and Minneapolis Public Schools to develop Instruments in the Cloud, a web-based instrument inventory management system that is free to schools. Even if school districts use a different inventory system, teachers and administrators can still take advantage of Instruments in the Cloud’s online donation feature to make the community aware of instruments they need and encourage people to donate their once-used instruments."
