Welcome Freshman and Returning Students to Robotics.  New Season of New STEM Experiences!

Supported OH Wow! Silly Science Sunday in downtown Youngstown.  Offered Robot driving and demonstrate Omni bot.

October 2023

Finish ATV Robot with new T-Shirt Cannon turret and RC control system.

Build Swerve Drive Base with NEW kits and old base frame.  Use for coder and driver training on Swerve Drive.

Complete building new VEX  Robotics Competition Robots (with two teams) and Training for VRC Events with new VRC Game area.

Plan to re-build mBot Training Robots with more Sensors and Update Code.  Learning the basics of Robot building and Coding.

Establish second "Drones in School" team, start designing, building Drones, and Pilot training with Drones for indoor Racing!

November 2023

Drone teams compete in November Simulator Online Events and Virtual (Video) Submissions. (Various Dates)

Refresh the lab tools and equipment as necessary (using Fundraiser and Sponsor funds).  Get Ready for the next FRC Season!

Attend VRC Events at MCCTC in Canfield, Ohio (Weekly Events Starting November 1st).

Attended 2023 Mahoning Valley VRC Qualifier at MCCTC in Canfield, Ohio. February 3rd.

Silly Science Sunday was a great time for everyone (Tigerbotics, Parents and Children from the larger Youngstown community).

First VEX Robotics Competition with our new Hero robot (DISCO).  Placed 19th out of 22 teams at Mahoning Valley VRC Blended Invitational.

Supported WGH High School FIRST Lego League Event (Warren, Ohio).  Mentors and Parents as Judges and Referees.

January 2023

FIRST Robotics Competition Kick off on January 7th (Cleveland, Ohio).  Watch party at WGH High School.

February 2023

Attended 2023 Mahoning Valley VRC Qualifier at MCCTC in Canfield, Ohio.  43rd place out of 60+ teams.

New Drone team competed at 2023 Trumbull County Drone Racing League.  Achieved 5th place out of 8 teams.

March 2023

FIRST Buckeye Regional in Cleveland, Ohio (March 29th thru April 1st).  40th place out of 60+ regional teams.

April 2023

Supported the Aptiv "Bring Your Child to Work" day event at Champion Technical Center.  Multiple area Robotics teams supported.

May 2023

Students supported the HC Mines Career Day (May 5th. 2023) to demonstrate the HHS Program.

Attended FRC Ohio State Championship (ranked 29th out of 55 Ohio State teams).

Our FRC team WON (as part of the #1 Alliance) at the first FRC Ohio Championship after 2019 Covid.
