Guest Speakers

Part of this course is getting students excited about STEAM careers. One of the best ways to do this is to introduce students to a wide variety of people excelling in the STEAM field. With Covid-19 protocols lessoned we can now allow guest speakers in our classrooms! Please email me if you or someone you know would like to speak in person or virtually to students about what a day in their life looks like as well as what inspired them to pursue their career.

If you would like to speak, please email me at eleeder@greenvilleschools.k12.sc.us and we will schedule a time for you to meet with the students that works for you.

Donations

This course requires a large amount of supplies from recycalable materials to art supplies. To ensure that all children have the materials to build the projects they have so thoughtfully designed, it would be greatly appreciated to send your children to school with basic art supplies: scissors, tape, glue, pens, pencils, and graph paper. Please also encourage them to bring in recycaable materials including can, old balls, tin foil, plastic wrap,cardboard, boxes, and wooden dowels.
