STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/ Architecture, and Mathematics. In this interdisciplinary class, students design project that brings together the worlds of Visual Arts, engineering, and sustainability! They will see how STEAM technology affects their lives and how they can use science, technology, and entrepreneurship to better the world around them. Through these collaborations with one another, other classes, and local organizations students learn how their creative ideas might contribute to positive change in both the Upstate SC region and the larger world.

In our 7th and 8th grade program students will have the chance better our community directly. Through design projects, we will delve into the importance of mental well-being, environmental sustainability, beautifying our school and community. One way will do this is through using our cricut machine and heat press to design, market, finance, and manufacture a variety of items to tell to the school.
