Editors

• Piper Henderson - Piper loves music, art, theatre, travel, and everything outdoors (especially skiing and hiking). She's a Junior at BHS five days a week, but on the weekend she'll be curled up in bed reading and listening to a Velvet Underground record... either that or she'll be on a mountain somewhere. You never know. Serving as Editor-in-Chief, Piper is thrilled to be leading The Rock this year!!

• George Savastinuk - Deputy Editor in Chief, George is a Junior who loves music and writing. He finds peace in writing music on his guitar, on synths, and with his friends. You'll catch him listening to the likes of Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Gorillaz.

• Elin Donaldson-Martin - Elin is assistant editor in chief and loves to write abstract horror, procrastinate practicing her guitar, and force her friends to listen to retellings of her convoluted dreams. She loves cats and thinks everyone who doesn't is suspicious. 

• Angeline Hamilton - Angeline Hamilton is a sophomore at BHS and an assistant editor of the Rock. She spends her free time writing angsty poetry and struggling with technology.

• Ada Reitz - Originally from Oakland, California, Ada loves basketball, poetry, and hanging out with cats.

• Lena Dozeman - Hello! I’m Lena and this is my third year as a peer editor for The Rock! I love poetry and short stories, and spend my free time knitting, playing video games, and hanging out with my pets!

• Bennett Ross - Bennett is someone who likes writing! He likes it enough to want to edit your writing! He also enjoys to read, and do other mysterious activities…

• Joe Hughes - Joe has a deep-seated love for C.S. Lewis, muscle cars, and the music of Jim Croce. He drives a 1986 Pontiac Firebird, and in his off-time he studies Christian theology and learns guitar.

• Saiya McElderry - Saiya is a reader who enjoys creative, mopey stories and enjoys writing with the inspiration of her favorite authors. She is always excited to have the privilege of reading the work of her peers and loves how The Rock cultivates young writers!

• Alexandra Yund - Alexandra is a Sophomore who loves reading and writing! When she isn’t enveloped in a world of books, she loves to go outside and play with her dog. She’s really excited to be an editor in the Rock this year!

• Averie de Guzman - Averie is a theatre kid, Star Wars nerd, and lover of fashion who also happens to write occasionally (AKA has a folder on her notes app with 300+ unfinished poems).

• Dashiell Tibbals - Dashiell is a junior. Born in San Francisco CA, before moving to Bainbridge freshman year. Dashiell loves writing and reading. As well as history, running, and helping others. And he is excited to help others express themselves through writing.
