Home Visits

Home visits can be in your home or if you prefer to have them at the school that is ok!

On a home visit the parent educator and the parents work together to get the child to reach their fullest potential. I will let you know what to expect them to be doing at that time. If they haven't mastered it, then I will give you ideas of things you can work on.

• In the beginning of the year a goal will be set. Once the child masters that goal, then we will set another one.
• We will work throughout the year on developmental goals.
• With our activities we will work on the 4 stages of development. Intellectual skills, Motor skills, Language skills, and social-emotional skills.
• I will rely on your observations of your child throughout the year. Maybe you will see things you think he/she needs to work on. Communication is key between the educator and the parents.
• To the child, they are just playing. But to the families/educator they are Learning!
