Delta County Farm to School Program is excited to offer a Summer Camp for elementary students who have completed Kindergarten and 1st-6th graders. The purpose is to get kids outside and provide some summer fun while raising garden and agricultural awareness, as well as inspire healthy lifestyles. The funds raised from the summer camp will help provide essential resources to help sustain school garden programming for eight schools and nutrition lessons for children all around the district.

What it is: Outdoor fun, exciting games, cool science experiments, creative art & crafts and plenty of other awesome activities. Our AmeriCorps Garden Educators will run the 3.5 hour summer camp at our school gardens and will occasionally be accompanied by a community member who will share a lesson about what they do with our campers. 

When: Thursdays 8:30am - 12:00pm

DATES TBD

Cost: $15 per session for Early Bird registration and $20 per session for normal cost. Children must live in the same house. Camp prices are non-refundable unless cancelled 2 weeks in advance.
