The ELL Teacher's Toolbox: Hundreds of Practical Ideas to Support your Students
As the number of Multilingual Learners (MLs) continues to grow, The ELL Teacher's Toolbox offers teachers a practical, research-based guide to the instructional strategies that are appropriate for all students learning English. This book includes 45 strategies that are designed to help teachers assist students to draw out the gifts and tools they already possess, and to provide them with new ones, so that they can move forward in their academic, social-emotional, and professional/economic lives.
The ELL Teacher's Toolbox book study will begin Monday, October 30, 2023 and end on Sunday, February 4, 2023.
The book study assignments will be housed in Canvas. All participants to successfully complete this book study will receive 30 renewal credit hours towards recertification.
This book study will be open to the first 75 participants to register in Frontline!
The School I Deserve
Journalist Jo Napolitano delves into the landmark case in which the School District of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was sued for refusing to admit older, non-English speaking refugees and sending them to a high-disciplie alternative school.
The School I Deserve book study will begin March 18, 2024 and end on May 24, 2024.
The book study assignments will be housed in Canvas. All participants to successfully complete this book study will receive 15 renewal credit hours towards recertification.
This book study will be open to the first 75 participants to register in Frontline!
