Choose one of the above famous people on whom to write a one paragraph informative essay. Follow the steps of writing. See each day for your writing direction.

MONDAY: Gather information through research: Find at least one article to read and reformat (highlight, take notes.)

TUESDAY

Create a key word outline (one section.) Your key word outline should answer the question: What is your person famous for?

Clincher Sentence (reflects topic but doesn't repeat)

WEDNESDAY

Create a rough draft for your one paragraph essay. This is an INFORMATIVE ESSAY, so do not use personal pronouns like "I" or "We." Be sure to include a topic sentence and clincher that reflect.

THURSDAY

Edit/Revise your rough draft essay. Be sure to include sentence openers, dress-ups, and strong verbs and adjectives.

Compose your final draft. Save your essay for next week's writing assignment.
