Good day Chorale & Jr. High Ensemble families!

The time is here! Woo Hoo! Your students are doing fabulous this week despite limited rehearsal time. Please know that I am purposely taking things a bit at a time, trying not create any information overload, nor any unnecessary performance anxiety for your kids. Details regarding next week will be coming after our Washington Square performance. Your daily prayers for all things are so appreciated!

URGENT NEED FOR PARENT HELPERS tomorrow at the mall!

I have ONLY TWO parents at this time to help me manage and care for our 107 student performers. YIKES! I am not at all comfortable with that for so, so many reasons. Can you assist me please? Thank you!

ALSO INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TODAY...ARE YOU MISSING MY UPDATES?

If so, perhaps you have not subscribed. Important information has been sent over the last weeks. Please click on the links AND SUBSCRIBE even at this late date. We’re not done with the fun!

NOW, REPEATED INFO & DETAILS REGARDING TOMORROW AT WASHINGTON SQUARE:

TOMORROW, Thursday. Dec. 3rd 5:55pm Call/ 6:00pm Perform at Washington Square (in the Sears courtyard) Plan for 6:00-6:30pm

1. Students need to arrive dressed to perform. Chorale in t-shirts & black. Ensemble in school color, festive caroling attire. Parents, please hold on to coats, etc.

2. We will meet BEHIND the risers at 5:55pm in Sears courtyard. Quite honestly, having kids gather & hang out any sooner than 5 minutes beforehand creates a problem. Let’s not get in the way of shoppers and stores, as we want to be invited back. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANY CHORALE/ENS MEMBERS OR SIBLINGS ON THE RISERS AT ANY TIME, BEFORE OR AFTER THE PERFORMANCE. A few other notes from past experience: Please have siblings on the floor safely BEHIND the director music stand. Also, there is a merry-go-round in the courtyard area. Please keep our older students OFF it at all times. And I would greatly appreciate that distraction to be eliminated during our performance. Thanks so much!

3. Please be careful not to create an exclusive "holy huddle", ignoring shoppers & passers-by. Greet strangers, start conversations. This is a community outreach event~ a gentle reminder that you will be able to see your kids again, twice, next week. Bottom line: Let’s represent Christ with dignity & common courtesy. Let the light of Christ be available for our community to witness as our students share.

4. If your child should be late, your student may join the SIDE of the front rows, BETWEEN SONGS ONLY. Please help them calm themselves before scooting in. No worries!

5. We will perform at 6:00 sharp, after a brief photo op. We will finish with “Silent Night” and "O Come All Ye Faithful". Please join us singing this familiar carol & chorus. We will repeat the chorus "For He alone is Worthy” as well. In the past, it has been simply awesome to hear kids & parents together worshiping our Lord and King in this public setting. May we represent our Lord Jesus with excellence & may He be glorified thru it all!

6. Students will then be released to you from the risers. Enjoy the mall. Wear those shirts and school colors proudly. Smile a lot. Tip well. Again, we represent not only WHCS, but our most worthy Lord Jesus. We GET to do this!

Thanks again & God bless you today! Keep those kiddos rested up & healthy!
