10-05-16 October Ensemble Update

Hey y’all!
Great to see you again today. Hallelujah for progress! Thanks so much for your effort this past first month as we muddled thru together. Truly, your work is already beginning to show. I look forward to Monday & Wednesday afternoons big time!
Regarding cds- if you still need one, please reply to this email asap & I’ll get one to ya upstairs tomorrow, so you have it for the weekend.
Also, if you are wanting some extra help with your part outside of electives, I’m happy to snag a few minutes whenever we can. I’m available during your Tuesday & Friday lunches. Some of you have already dropped in, asked for help or asked me to tweak a part WHICH IS AWESOME. Some altos and boys who want to do harmonies have already planned for this Friday lunch 12:45- 1:10. Totally optional, feel free for anyone to jump in if you’d like. Thanks for being pro-active! Older students rule.
FYI- One month from now we will preview The Lion King (during Fri 11/4 Study Hall) to any jr higher interested. Registration for Term 2 & 3 electives will soon follow! Specific remaining Nov & Dec Tuesday and Thursday lunches will be character part info/tryouts for the many, many leads in this show. You know I prefer 7/8th graders to take leadership in that regards if possible. Specifics tba, but I want you Ensemble peeps to be in-the-know now! Be thinking and count the cost. All musical dates & info are HERE. Please remember the musical is a much bigger commitment than our Christmas Ensemble and will require parental approval.
By the way, there are 67 students in Chorale this fall. You have paved the way for many of these young performers over the years. Thanks so much for your continued leadership! May God bless you bunches for serving Him through the performing arts. WE GET TO DO THIS! I'm excited that we get to honor the Lord in this way during the holidays. Thanks for sharing your musical gifts that He gave you! See ya next Monday- Now eat up those cds, memorize those lyrics! FOR HIM!
