As we all found out through our work with ECAP, text selection is the most important part of our reading instruction work, and also the most difficult. Here is a great website for fiction and non-fiction texts. In your spare time, I encourage you to browse the selections here. Of course, the essay section is particularly appropriate. Texts are grade level rated too!
