Dance Education is taught in South Carolina schools for the purpose of introducing students to the joy of movement and dance as an art form. At Stone Academy classroom teachers infuse and integrate dance. Also, dance is taught as a separate discipline based on the state standards. All students in kindergarten through fifth grade enjoy dance.
Dance Ensemble information will be presented the first week of school, August 8-14. Auditions for 4th graders will take place on Tuesday, August 27. Auditions for 5th graders will take place on Thursday, August 29. Have a joyful and happy summer!!
