Class of 2020-Freshmen

Welcome to Castle Rock High School!

Even though senior year feels FOREVER away, it is my job to remind you that it is never to early to plan for life after high school. Even if your plan changes a million times, the important thing is to be thinking about your interests, skills and dreams. Whether you choose to go to a 2 or 4 year university, enter the military or the workforce the choice is yours! There are so many options available and it is my hope that as you make your way through high school you develop a deep understanding of the variety of options available to you after high school.

Things to remember:

• College admission counselors look at all four years when considering college acceptance. Even if you have no idea what you want to do after high school, doing well all four years will give you the most options after graduation.
• The classes you pick today impact the next four years. Class too easy? Talk to your teacher and Mrs. Wilson about switching into an honors class. Class too hard? Ask for help
• While many classes are required for graduation, choosing electives that interest you will help them be more enjoyable.
