During the summer and fall, the Color Guard is part of the Auburn High School Bulldog Marching Band. The Color Guard visually enhances the marching show and parade music through choreographed routines that utilize flags, as well as rifles, air blades and sabers as necessary. 

Auditions are held in the spring. Students accepted into Color Guard enroll in Marching Band for the first semester of the school year and will play their instrument once marching is over. Summers are very important for the Color Guard to learn choreography before school starts.
