Y13 Physics

Physics seeks to understand nature at its most fundamental level. Physicists – and students studying physics – attempt to discover and apply the general laws that govern force and motion, matter and energy, and space and time. The fundamental aims of physics in year 13 are expressed as a series of the following achievement standards;

  • AS91521 3.1 Carry out a practical investigation to test a physics theory relating two variables in a non-linear relationship.
  • AS91522 3.2 Demonstrate understanding of the application of physics to a selected context.
  • AS91527 3.7 Use physics knowledge to develop an informed response to a socio-scientific issue.
