IF YOU ARE 16-24 YEARS OF AGE (IF YOU ARE 25+ PLEASE SCROLL DOWN)
Participants 16-24 years of age are eligible for case management through YWCA's RESET program. This is a comprehensive program that operates collaboratively with your job training program. Participants who qualify for RESET will:
Receive support from a professional case manager to assist them with getting career ready.
Have a career aptitude assessment to help determine what career path is right for you.
Have scheduled sessions with an assigned case manager who will assist participants in finding the resources they need to be successful in their journey.
Job placement assistnace.
If you are in this age group, you likely entered this program through your RESET case manager. Your training program manager is here to support you through this process and works collaboratively with your case manager.
If you have concerns directly related to your training, coursework, or stipends, your program manager is your primary point of contact.
All other concerns should be addressed with your case manager.
If you are ever in doubt, always refer to your case manager as your primary point of contact as they are your advocate.
IF YOU ARE 25+ YEARS OF AGE
If you are 25 years of age or more, you will undergo an initial case management screening before entering the program. This screening helps to ensure you have all the tools you need to be successful in the program. Feel like you're not ready, it's ok. We will help you get there. Although you will not qualify for the entire case management service offered under RESET, you will still have "light touch" case management support. This includes:
Three check-ins throughout your training period (initial, midpoint, and end) to ensure you have all the tools you need.
Referrals for resources and professional services if needed.
Job placement assistance.
Your program manager will be your primary contact for all your needs and will check in with you every week.
