Farewell from Mrs. Pierce
I am retiring at the end of the 25-26 school year. I have served Central Elementary for 29 years, and I have loved every minute of it. I will cherish the memories of current and past students, families, and faculty and staff. You all have been an important part of my life and you are appreciated and loved more than you know. After 35 years in education, I am looking forward to retirement and helping my own personal children as they begin their careers in education as teachers
in the YPS district.
Please be kind to one another. Help one another.
Feel all the feels and learn to regulate those feelings.
I am rooting for you Central, always and forever.

Guidance Classes
Every other week, Mrs.. Pierce goes into each Kdg. - 3rd grade classroom for lessons on Being Kind, Being a strong student, and Being well by recognizing and managing strong emotions. Mrs. Pierce visits Pre-K classes once a month.
