Learning Goals for Guidance Class are taken from the American School Counseling Association National Standards. There are 3 domains that are addressed: Academic Development, Career Development, and Personal/Social. Standards are also placed into 3 subcategories: Learning Strategies, Self-Management Skills, and Social Skills.
Learning Goals for Guidance Class and the Counseling Program (Individual and Group Counseling) will come from the following standards:
