The Leadership Certificate Program from Young Professionals of Knoxville is a six-session experience designed to develop emerging leaders through intentional growth, meaningful connection, and community engagement. Grounded in real-world application and led by regional experts, the program equips participants with the skills, self-awareness, and relationships needed to lead effectively across industries and roles.
Through a curriculum focused on purpose, strengths, emotional intelligence, and practical leadership skills, participants will gain tools they can immediately apply in their careers and personal lives. Just as importantly, the program creates space to build authentic relationships and engage more deeply with the Knoxville community.

Commit to attending all Leadership Certificate program sessions
Possess a growth mindset with the will to learn and advance
Use their developing leadership skills and knowledge for the long-term benefit of the community

TUITION
TUITION
Tuition for the Leadership Certificate program is $250. Each participant and/or employer/sponsor of each participant is expected to pay the full program tuition before the first session. This amount covers all program costs, including materials, assessments, speakers, and food and drink at every session. Tuition is non-refundable in whole, or in part, if the participant fails to complete the program.
The $250 program fee helps cover:
Leadership session materials
Speaker engagement and programming
Cohort experiences and events
Graduation and recognition ceremony
Applicants interested in being considered for financial assistance should submit a one-page document stating the amount requested and the reason for the request. Participants can expect a structured, engaging experience that includes:

Time Commitment:
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and actively engage in discussions and activities. Additional time may be spent on reflection, networking, or optional community involvement outside of scheduled sessions.
