Our Scholastic Fall Book Fair is coming!!! Mark your calendars, the dates are Sept. 15-22, 2023!!
We have 2 reading programs at Sallie Jones Elementary School, AR (Renaissance Learning) and SSYRA- Sunshine State Young Readers Award books. AR is a school-wide program designed to motivate, monitor, and manage students’ independent reading practice to help students develop a true love for reading. Our new program myOn is one of the products that can be supplemented with AR.
SSYRA is a program that I promote through the library. There are 2 levels, SSYRA Jr for grades K-2 and SSYRA 3-5 for the third through fifth graders. Any students that participate in the 3-5 group have a chance to earn prizes once they become part of the "club".
