Destiny is our district's online library catalog system. During Media Specials students in grades 3-5 are taught how to search for books using Destiny. There is also a tool called WebPath Express where students can search safe, grade level appropriate websites for research projects or just for fun.

I have also included directions below on how to use Destiny to see what books your child has checked out and when they are due. Students may check out a book(s) for 2 weeks, and chapter books may be renewed one time, for a total of 4 weeks.

Book Allotments this year:

Kindergarten- One book (after Christmas break)

First Grade- One Book (starting in Oct)

2nd & 3rd Grade- 2 books each

4th & 5th Grade- 3 books each

If a student as an overdue library book(s) or lost/damaged book, they will not be able to check out a new book until their overdue book is returned or book fines paid.

Students are required to have their library book(s) with them every time they come to the library. If they have finished their book they will return it and get another one. If they have not yet finished it, they will be able to quietly read their book while their classmates are looking for books.
