Senior Naval Science Instructor:
Chief Petty Officer Geoffrey Dufur USCG (Ret.)
BMC Dufur spent a combined total of 27 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard, respectively. Chief Dufur served as a Machine Gunner with 1st Battalion 25th Marines specializing in cold weather mountain warfare and a Boatswains Mate while serving with the US Coast Guard. Chief Dufur served aboard three Coast Guard Cutters, Three Search and Rescue Stations, one Aids to Navigation Team, and one Maritime Safety and Security Team, and was deployed in support of OIF/OEF to Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. Chief Dufur officially retired June 19th, 2020, after completing his final tour as Executive Petty Officer at Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce FL. Chief Dufur graduated Summa Cum Laude from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

BMC May retired from the US Navy after 24 years of active duty to our great nation and Navy. Chief May is extremely proud to be part of the pirate family as the Port Charlotte Navy JROTC Naval Science Instructor.
