Behavior Policy

My classroom is as positive learning environment. I reward often for positive behavior and work ethic. I'm flexible to student needs and understand that everyone has different learning abilities. I want to work hard to make this an awesome year, but I'm going to need student and parent collaboration to make this possible. Please keep in touch often...I love open communication. :-)

Behavior Rewards

Our school is using LiveSchool this year for positive behavior reinforcement. LiveSchool provides me with the opportunity to reward students with points for good behavior. These points can be turned in for rewards. A letter will go home about how you can log into LiveSchool and monitor your child's behavior.

I am very flexible in my classroom. However, I am firm about an uninterrupted learning environment and respect. It is not fair to my students if their learning is interrupted by poor and/or rude behavior. I will contact a parent/guardian if the behavior persists (students will always have the opportunity to correct behaviors before a parent is contacted).

Participation Rewards

Active and appropriate participation in classroom discussions will also earn LiveSchool points.
