About Ms. Clark

Happy day to you!

I was born and raised in the small quiet town of Ashford, Connecticut (so small, it’s joked that there are more cows than people!). After graduating from E.O. Smith High School (which neighbors the University of Connecticut- Go Huskies!!!), I moved to Florida with my family. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University (Go FGCU Eagles!) and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-6 with an ESOL Endorsement). I quickly returned to complete my master’s in Reading and graduated in 2008. I'm gifted and reading endorsed. I'm also reading certified. My next goal is to find a STEM certification program! :-)

I loooooove technology. I'm always trying new equipment and programs, and implementing them in my classroom.

My favorite color is blue (all shades are lovely), and my favorite animals are dolphins. I enjoy Science and completing experiments and inquiries. I'm a big fan of fresh water fish keeping. I have multiple tanks and fish. I enjoy unique salads, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, Science Fiction, and working on technology (especially the school website and helping my colleagues with techie related items). If I'm not busy working, you can find me cleaning fish tanks or walking in one of our local parks.

I completed my final internship at Kingsway. I'm thrilled to be a part of such an awesome school! I care deeply about everyone at KES and make it my personal mission to help students feel important and successful.

Have an awesome day!
