Awards

Whip-ma this year won us the honour of having run the best event! It was our tenth anniversary and we made sure to celebrate our achievements as a society.

We are thrilled to be the SU's most inclusive society! We are committed to reducing barriers to entry, keeping dance gender-neutral, and being able to adapt to the needs of our dancers.

Our Website and Publicity Officer, Clara, won Highly Commended for Outstanding Contribution to Societies. She had a lot of fun working for the society and is now very tired but refusing to leave and currently making this website.

Our hard work this year was recognised when we were shortlisted for Student Group of the Year at the Love York Awards!

We also had the honour of being invited to the prestigious Love York awards for Whip-ma!
