Prizes

Shortlisted entries will be featured in a four day exhibition to be held at the University of York from the 19th-22nd November and on electronic screens across the campus as well as in an online gallery.

There will also be an exciting Evening Awards Ceremony held on the 22nd November where the winners will be announced! This event will celebrate international diversity and raise awareness of global development. It will feature international food and entertainment, a judging panel, guest speakers and the opportunity to view all of the shortlisted photographs.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place, to be decided at the evening awards event. There will also be a prize for the People’s Choice Award, to be awarded following a public vote. Winning entries will be displayed electronically on the campus screens and on the IGDC’s and University of York’s social media accounts as well as being printed and framed to be displayed within the IGDC office in Derwent college. All entries also have the opportunity to be used in the IGDC’s marketing materials, including on our website, and will therefore be viewed by a number of people from institutions across the world.
