1st October 2024: Holly has submitted her thesis!!! Congrats Holly!! 🥳
November 2024: Noémie got awarded a New Investigator Research Grant by the MRC, we can now buy our spinning disk microscope! 🎉
3rd June 2024: The latest Hamilton boy is born, welcome to the world Baby Zack !! 🥰
EVENTS
28th February 2026: It's Rare Disease Day! The Lab raised awareness by wearing stripes and colours and talking to as many people as possible abot leukodystrophies, I personally loved the look on the faces of my builders at home that morning telling them about why we wear striped on rare disease day! Sept 25: The whole team attended NeuroBioUK- as always a great meeting. Diogo's abstract was selected for a talk this year!
May 2025: Diogo and Noémie attended and presented at the 25th anniversary of the Amsterdam Leukodystrophy Centre, celebrating Marjo van der Knaap for her clinical retirement. And Diogo won the prize for the best talk!
May 2025: Pizza night social for our research corridor- great opportunity to get a updated lab photo! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
MLD science day on Friday 21st March 2025: Noémie presented the lab's research and the work of LEUKOLABS.
Oct 2024: We created a zebrafish 'Transplant and Scan your zebrafish' workshop for the patients and their families at the AlexTLC community weekend.
