[2026.07] SynPro Lab receives research grant from Ministry of Health and Welfare (보건복지부)

Our research group was awarded Global Research Fund (글로벌연구협력지원사업) from Ministry of Health and Welfare. 

Through this grant, we will conduct a joint research with Monash University (Australia) to develop a mRNA-LNP platform for cancer vaccine / in vivo CAR-T therapeutics.

[2026.04] Lab members attend KSBB Spring Conference

Our research group attended 2026 KSBB Spring Conference (한국생물공학회 춘계학술대회) held at Yeosu.

Prof. Lim attended Young Scientist forum as a speaker and presented a talk entitled "Design and application of programmable biomolecular condensates based on intrinsically disordered protein from tardigrade"

Naeun and Hyeji presented a poster entitled "Engineering dynamic protein condensates as synthetic compartments inside bacterial cells" 

[2026.03] SynPro Lab receives research funding from SCL

Our research group was awarded research funding from Seoul Clinical Laboratories (SCL, 서울의과학연구소) 

Through this project, we will develop novel toehold switch-based diagnostics.

[2025.09] SynPro Lab receives research grant from NRF (한국연구재단)

Our research group was awarded NRF Early Career Scientist Seed Grant (우수신진연구 - 씨앗연구).

Through this grant, we will explore novel LLPS-based methods to enable the production of complex proteins from bacterial cells.
