Mindful Gentle Yoga
with Diana of Shivana Yoga
In this class we will move the body is ways that are gentle and soothing, while using the tools of mindful awareness and breathing to stay in the present moment. This practice will help the body relax, release tension and bring the nervous system to a place of calm. You will need pillows or a bolster if you have one, a blanket, a yoga strap or scarf, and yoga blocks if you have them. If not, pillows will work just fine. I hope you can join us!

Teressa is a Scleroderma warrior, a certified yoga instructor (200hr) with specialization in Yoga for Scleroderma and Arthritis.
Join her for a guided Gentle Stretch and Feel Good (great for beginners), Chair, or Gentle Flow, see descriptions and items to have handy below. Her classes start with a guided breathing exercise. Then she will move gently from the top of your head to the bottom of your toes and finish with savasana.
These classes are for everyone! Teressa will give you different options throughout the class to help you find your own movement.
Daily stretching will help strengthen our muscles, help with range of motion to prevent, or slow down the loss of motion in our joints. Stretching our bodies will leave you feeling awake and centered for the day ahead.
To register, please email Teressa at pattess72@hotmail.ca These classes go for 5 weeks and then 2 weeks off.
After registering, a waiver will be sent to you for insurance purposes and a zoom link.
