What if a student arrives late?

If they arrive before testing begins (i.e., during directions), have them take a seat and let them test with the group. If a student shows up after testing has begun, have them get started, indicating the time they began. Have the student stop once the testing block is done. These students will finish during extended time. If a student shows up after testing has begun (without an adult and/or without a pass), do not give them a test and message Mrs. Fraser-McKnight. 

What if a student falls asleep?

To prevent this, gently place a hand on their back to wake them and have them take a stretch break/water break.

What if a student refuses to work/ continues to sleep after several attempts at redirecting?

First, ask if they need a bathroom/water break; then, if needed, move their seat (still maintaining safety protocols); if that does not work, message your principal or Mrs. Fraser-McKnight. 

What if the primary teacher on record has to go to the bathroom? 

First, review the schedule and then message the floater on duty.
