Engineering is an important aspect of all of our lives. From phones to music to plumbing systems, everyday things require planning and teamwork. Here in the YHS Engineering Academy, we embrace this and teach these skills. We help students understand the importance of teamwork and commitment, and teach them how to think like engineers. Throughout their four years, they'll tour colleges, learn different engineering methods, interact with engineering companies/colleges, and much more.
If you're interested contact your counselor for more information or visit the YHS website.
Our group of incredible staff and Academy leaders all work together and brainstorm new and exciting improvements for the Engineering Academy. As a group we are tasked to certain duties and missions to better improve the academies' fun and educational events planned throughout the course of the year.
