** Course Change Request Form for the 2025-2026
School Year will be open at the end of August **
Course Change Requests are Processed ONLINE ONLY:
An appointment with your counselor is not required for a course change.
You must be logged into your K12 account to access the form.
Change requests will be processed IN THE ORDER THAT THEY ARE RECEIVED, assuming the reason for the request is valid. The required signed course change from must be uploaded with parent signature or your request WILL NOT be processed.
Do not email your counselor in regards to your course change as we will NOT respond to these emails. You must trust in the process. Responding to emails means delays in processing course changes.
Counselors only process changes during working hours.
Once you have completed the Google form, your counselor will work to complete your request within 48-72 hours as we will be processing a high volume of changes.
You will be sent an email confirmation once your course change is complete.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU PROCEED WITH YOUR REQUEST
1. There are NO WAITLISTS for courses, and many classes are already full. This means we may not be able to accommodate your request.
2. A request to change one course may result in a change to your entire timetable. You do not have the option of switching back once a change has been made.
3. Only one course change request is permitted per semester. Once this number is reached, no further changes to your timetable are permitted.
4. There are no elective course changes permitted for students in grade 9 and 10.
5. Timetables will NOT BE CUSTOMIZED. Do NOT put in a request to have a specific course in a particular time slot or semester.
6. For university applicants, it does not matter WHEN a course is scheduled on your timetable. It only matters that the REQUIRED courses are on your timetable. Requests to move courses between semesters for university applications will NOT be processed.
7. The last day to request a course change for SEMESTER 2 is February 7, 2025 by 2:30 PM.
8. Course changes for SEMESTER 2 are open.
9. Prior to submitting a course change request, please review the information on the Google Form.
10. ELEARN: Many elearn classes have waitlists. You can request to be put on a maximum of 2 waitlists. You will be automatically added to whichever course opens up first. You will be automatically removed from any other waitlists when this happens. Do not request to be put on a waitlist for elearn if you do not intend to take the course, as changebacks are not permitted. If you do not get into elearn, your timetable will remain unchanged.
11. To be fair to all students, there are no exceptions to these policies and procedures. Please be patient.
