COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS
2023-2024 School Year
TO REQUEST A COURSE CHANGE OR A COURSE DROP:
Students must complete a PAPER S25B Course Change Form
Visit the Guidance Office in person and pick up a PAPER S25B Course Change Form OR go to the form below, PRINT a copy and return it in person to the Guidance office (emails will NOT be accepted)
Have a parent or legal guardian SIGN your COMPLETED form
Drop it off in the Guidance Office
If there is room in a course that you requested and a change is possible, a Guidance Counsellor will complete the change
Note:
Courses may be full and course changes should be limited to stream and pathway changes. We will do our best to grant your request.
This is the only way to request an OFFICIAL COURSE CHANGE. We are unable to accept voicemail or email requests.
Spares are for Gr 12s only

COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS
To request a course change - please visit the Guidance office to pick up a paper copy of our Course Change Change Request Form (S25b). Course change requests can only be processed upon course availability.
Please Note:
It is not always possible to approve change requests.
Students must follow their original timetable until changes have been approved and a new timetable issued. Changes will be made into the most appropriate class available.
Changes will not be made to adjust for individual choices or teachers or subject periods.
SHSM students should recognize how course changes will affect RED SEAL diploma requirements.
A parent/guardian will need to verify and confirm any course change requests and will be contacted by guidance for approval either by phone or email.
ONLY Gr. 12 students can request a SPARE (there is only 1 spare permitted per semester)
