The guidance and career education program consists of courses that are intended to help students develop learning and interpersonal skills and to enable them to explore careers and the pathways that lead to them. Students assess their own strengths, needs and interests and investigate a range of opportunities and develop goals for their educational pathway as they prepare for post secondary destinations.
This course is 1 term (1/2 semester) and is worth a 1/2 credit. It is a required course for the OSSD. Students complete Civics (CHV201) for the other 1/2 credit.
