"My most memorable experience at my placement is the process of learning how to design using a program called Solidworks. It was almost like a video game. The idea of creating a template with specific details, which will be created at a later date, is absolutely fascinating for me."

Canadian Armed Forces

"I had the fortunate opportunity to do my co-op placement with the Canadian Armed Forces. My time with CAF was filled with making life-long friends and memorable experiences. One of the most memorable moments of my placement was being the “course senior”. With the title, there were responsibilities that came along with it. I was responsible for being the mediator between my peers and the course staff when my peers had questions/concerns or when the course staff had instructions for us. This role helped me realize that communication is key to being an effective leader. Aside from developing my soft skills, the army helped me increase my physical strength and certified me to CPR Level C. The CAF helped me realize that we can accomplish new fears if we push ourselves just a bit harder!"
