Co-op to Apprenticeship
A Government-sponsored initiative that allows students to apprentice in a skilled trade while earning high school credits.
Students can register as apprentices with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.
before leaving high school and begin working towards their Certificate of Qualification.
Co-op hours may count towards apprenticeship hours and offer a smooth transition from high school to the world of work.
