Our mission as a club is to be the blueprint of the Black Youth community through the celebration of culture, spreading Black Joy, and creating a safe space where all Black individuals can strive towards Black Excellence.
A3C is a safe space for the black students to not only share experiences and knowledge, but also expand and flourish as a community. Our goal is to educate the school community about Black Culture by holding educational monthly events; offering stylish merchandise, and being extremely active and present on social media.

In ASAP, we provide a safe space for all students of any ethnicity to socialize, learn, and engage in various Asian traditions and cultures, all while maintaining a fun and comfy atmosphere.
We also hope to shed light on issues within the community and eradicate the prejudices held against Asians.
We learn about different Asian nationalities through a variety of activities and games such as karaoke, movies, and traditional crafts. We also hold school-wide events including Asian Heritage Month and Lunar New Year

The Classics Club brings people with a shared love for Classical Studies - the study of people in the antiquities, their culture, philosophies, etc. - together, to create a space dedicated towards discussion of the ancients. We also aim to inspire students to learn Classical Studies through many perspectives including language, science, history, and technology
We learn about the culture and societies of the ancients, including the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians. We also learn Latin through the Cambridge Latin Course and participate in classics-related competitions.

SBA Chess is the chess club at our school, committed to hosting both club and SBA community tournaments and events. We welcome players of all skill levels, from seasoned enthusiasts to newcomers, and we take pride in our inclusive open-door policy.
Our club’s directive is to provide a space for members to not only benefit from the intellectually stimulating game of chess but also promote social interaction and personal growth within our inclusive and engaging community
At SBA Chess, members can dive into the chess universe, indulging in friendly or competitive games, taking part in exhilarating tournaments, and attending our chess parties. From World Cup-inspired competitions to team tournaments, SBAChess offers a plethora of unique and thrilling experiences. Our cozy environment also provides members with the perfect space to relax and unwind after a tiring day of school.

We provide a space for members to develop their skills in debating, public speaking, critical thinking, and adaptability.
This can be in preparation for the tournaments our school provides (ranging from regional to national), or simply for personal improvement. Either way, members will be able to further their academic abilities and gather many useful skills for high school, post-secondary, and their future careers (even if it isn't in law). It's also a great place to meet new people with different perspectives!
During meetings, you can expect in-house debates and discussions, different activities and games, and working on large-scale events such as regional/provincial debates.

At Eco Club, we are committed to spreading awareness about the various environmental issues in today’s world. We work towards making our school a more eco-friendly environment through educational events and initiatives.
In Eco Club, we focus on environmental action and work towards making our school more sustainable. We run recycling initiatives, collecting items such as batteries, stationery, phones, and more. We repurpose items such as milk bags and weave them into mats for people in need. Additionally, we run conservation-focused events as well as our Earth Week celebration in April. We encourage you to join us on Tuesdays for fun activities!

SBA Finance Society aims to promote financial literacy in our school. We teach students the importance and the concepts of financial literacy.
Our Google Classroom has a large catalog of financial literacy resources that students have access to. Finance Society also competes in the Waterloo Financial Literacy Competition in the spring, hosts Financial Literacy Month, and trades stocks on a school paper trading account.

French Club helps create a safe space for students who would like to practice their French skills outside their classrooms and for any student who would like to learn more about French culture. Furthermore, this allows students to gain a second language and use it as an asset for the rest of their lives.
As a club, we strive to increase the usage of the French language during each club meeting. Our French community encourages a safe environment to practice these skills through activities such as french cuisine, french movies, and art.

HOSA is North America’s largest science organization dedicated to guiding secondary students in exploring the healthcare field. HOSA members select a competitive event to prepare for throughout the year, leading up to the Spring Leadership Conference. This experience helps students in developing leadership qualities, self-confidence, and motivation.
In HOSA, we engage in interactive case studies covering topics such as bioethics and learn about various healthcare careers and the healthcare industry. Additionally, we host sessions with guest speakers, connecting HOSA students through online meetings to explore the life experiences of medical students who share similar interests. Finally, we prepare for the SLC competition to strengthen their academic and technical skills while allowing students to come to a consensus on realistic career and future educational goals.

Jack chapter strives to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness and provides students with the information and assistance they need so that no one feels left out. Our goal is to raise awareness and celebrate the many different countries that comprise the Portuguese and Latino world. We share many common threads in terms of language, music, food, and other parts of our culture and we want to encourage students to embrace and celebrate these groups.
Members part of this association learn more about the different Latino and Portuguese cultures by partaking in diverse engaging activities each month. Each meeting focuses on a different country and their distinct customs and traditions.

Model United Nations or MUN is a worldwide activity where students take on roles as ‘delegates’ to simulate real United Nations conferences. MUN aims to educate students on international issues, civics, and diplomacy.
During meetings, we discuss international peacekeeping topics, negotiate, and practice drafting resolutions to complex conflicts. The goal of our MUN club is to broaden awareness and knowledge of global issues and allow members to practice public speaking, research, and writing skills. As a club, we study current events, politics, and international relations and often debate various topics and issues, preparing for assemblies and conferences at top Canadian universities, such as TMUN held at the University of Toronto.

Our club aims to provide a platform for students to creatively express themselves through writing, photography, and graphic design. We strive to create opportunities for students to explore various types of journalism and refine their craft.
We work together to publish monthly issues to be distributed to the rest of the school and parents. Members are divided into four primary groups: writers, editors, photographers, and graphic designers. Each group collaborates to finish different sections of our newspaper. Content ranges from school events, photography, sports, global events, business, and entertainment.

Robotics Club is all about the construction of robots to perform certain tasks. We strive to help members learn about and experience the process of building a robot while using and building problem-solving, design, and collaboration skills.
We learn about the many different aspects of building robots, particularly mechanics, electronics, and programming, through various lessons, activities, and preparations related to robotics, working towards constructing robots to participate in competitions.

In Software Club, we explore applications of math in coding and various programming languages. We cater to individuals curious about learning programming languages, whether they’re a novice or an expert, or considering a future career in computer science or engineering. Our aim is to empower students to apply concepts they learn in this club to real-world scenarios.
In this club, we learn about a series of programming languages such as HTML, Python, C++, and Java. We put the students’ knowledge to the test by allowing them to create programs that enhance their problem-solving skills. Additionally, we organize bi-weekly competitions where students develop programs based on specific requirements and concepts taught. By applying their knowledge through coding, it provides a glimpse into engineering and computer science programs.

ASPECT is a safe space for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies to connect, learn, and hang out. Our goal is to ensure our school has a comfortable and healthy environment for everyone and to raise awareness about a largely marginalized and stigmatized community.
Every year in June, ASPECT hosts Pride Week, with a variety of activities in celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community! But on a regular basis, we socialize and occasionally have group discussions concerning all sorts of topics, which are great opportunities to understand more about the community. We welcome people of all genders and sexualities to come together and learn about acceptance and love.
