When you take Business courses not only will you gain real-world, practical skills and knowledge, but when you successfully complete FOUR high school business courses, you will receive a Business Certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education.
The Business Certificate is an excellent addition to your resume and a powerful indication to potential employers and educational institutions of your interest, commitment and acumen in business and industry.
Students must complete 4 Business Studies courses/credits in their high school career, with an overall average of 75% in these 4 courses.
2 or more credits can be utilized coded with a ‘B’ (BTT1O1, BBI2O1, BAF3M1, BMI 3C1, BTA 3O1, BAT4M1, BDV4C1, BOH4M1)
1 or 2 credit(s) can be utilized from the Economics courses (CIE3M1, CIA4U1)
1 credit can be utilized from the Interdisciplinary Business courses (IDC4U2 Sports & Entertainment Marketing, IDC4U1 Financial Securities)
