COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS

COURSE CHANGES

2026-2027

ALL STUDENTS -- NO CHANGES TO PERIODS/SECTIONS/SEMESTERS/TEACHERS.

GRADE 9 & 10 STUDENTS -- NO ELECTIVE OR REACH AHEAD COURSE CHANGES.

SPARES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO GRADE 12 STUDENTS -- NO EXCEPTIONS.

Changes will only be made based on the following criteria:

* results from summer/night school

* level change (i.e. Academic ↔️ Applied, University ↔️ College)

* OSSD graduation requirement

* post-secondary requirement (for grade 12 graduating students)

SEMESTER ONE

Students who are requesting a change in their timetable (semester one and/or semester two courses) are to complete the Google Form linked in the Principal's welcome email (to be sent to students and families during the week before school begins). Only change requests communicated through the Google form will be considered (please be advised that availability is limited as most classes are full). Email, phone, or in-person appointment requests cannot be accommodated at this time. Please check Edsembli daily to view any changes made and allow up to two weeks to process your request (pending availability). Grade 12 requests will be processed first. Guidance appointments will begin the third week of September.

COURSE CHANGE REQUEST FORM:

Please refer the the principal's welcome email (sent out in late August) to access the grade 9/10 course change request form and the grade 11/12 course change request form.

DEADLINE:

Course change requests deadline is September 14, 2026 at 8:00 am.

SEMESTER TWO

GRADE 9 AND 10 STUDENTS -- NO ELECTIVE OR REACH AHEAD COURSE CHANGES.

Grade 11 and 12 students -- visit the guidance office in-person to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any email, phone or parent appointment requests. Student appointments will be available during exam week as well as during all regular scheduled school days. The deadline to request a course change is 2:30 pm on Friday, February 5, 2027.

Please note that course availability is limited as most classes (including eLearn classes) are full.

Semester 2 change requests deadline is February 5, 2027 at 2:30 pm.

Online booking for guidance appointments is not available from January 11 through February 5. Please visit the guidance office in-person.
