FIELD TRIPS THROUGH YCDSB
YCDSB has developed partnerships with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) to offer schools FREE full-day adventures for Grades 2, 4, 7, and 9 on a limited basis.
These are provided on a first come first serve basis combined with secondary. All field trips are rain or shine--see infographics below.
Booking Information: Field trips will be offered through the 2024-25 school year.
Procedural Information for Outdoor Ed Field Trips:
Schools request a field trip.
Schools located north of Bloomington Rd are asked to request excursions through Scanlon Creek Grades 2, 4,7, and 9)
Schools located south of Bloomington Rd. are asked to request excursions through the Kortright Centre, Bruce's Mill (Grades 2, 4, 7), or Lake St. George (Grade 9)
Transportation costs are covered by the board.
