Students are to write a biography about themselves in French.

Recipe Analysis (5 %)

Students are to analyze a French recipe and write their own recipe in French.

Movie Review (5 %)

Students are to write a movie review on a movie they have seen.

Letter to a Celebrity (5 %)

Students are to write a letter inviting a celebrity to dinner.

Podcast Comprehension Activity (5 %)

Students are to listen to a podcast and fill out a comprehension activity.

Family Cultural Cooking Show (5 %)

Students are to create a cooking show about their favorite family recipe in French.

Brochure on a Francophone Country (5 %) *group project

Students are to act as a tour guide and pitch a trip to a Francophone Country.

Music Video (5 %)

Students are to create a parody or a cover of a francophone music video and choreograph a dance to go with it.

Weekly Journal post on Blogger in French (30%)

Students are to write a journal at the end of the week on blogger regarding what they have learned that week. 6 journals in total (5%) each.

Self-Evaluation Response (10%)

Students are to write a self-evaluation of what they have learned in the program, reflect on whether they have achieved their learning goals and reflect on next steps for continuing their language learning.

Participation during synchronous classes (20%)

Each week, students are to participate in synchronous oral class discussions and activities in French.
