The following is the breakdown of the assessments and evaluations for the program.
Students are to write a biography about themselves in French.
Students are to analyze a French recipe and write their own recipe in French.
Students are to write a movie review on a movie they have seen.
Students are to write a letter inviting a celebrity to dinner.
Students are to listen to a podcast and fill out a comprehension activity.
Students are to create a cooking show about their favorite family recipe in French.
Students are to act as a tour guide and pitch a trip to a Francophone Country.
Students are to create a parody or a cover of a francophone music video and choreograph a dance to go with it.
Students are to write a journal at the end of the week on blogger regarding what they have learned that week. 6 journals in total (5%) each.
Students are to write a self-evaluation of what they have learned in the program, reflect on whether they have achieved their learning goals and reflect on next steps for continuing their language learning.
Each week, students are to participate in synchronous oral class discussions and activities in French.
