Joseph is a secondary FSL teacher and the department head of Moderns at St. Brother Andre CHS in Markham. In this 13 years of teaching, he has designed many courses for the French as a Second Language Course for grade 9 - 12 French Immersion and Core French Programs in the Secondary Levels. He has also presented for several professional conferences in incorporating technology in the FSL classroom for other FSL teachers in his board. He is also a DELF Certified Correcteur for anyone who wishes to challenge the A1 - B2 level exams and a qualified AP French Language and Culture Instructor.
Master of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy Candidate
Shannon is going into her 5th year of teaching full-time in Toronto, Ontario as a FSL educator. She has taught French Immersion to primary, junior and intermediate classes (grade 3-7). She is a Digital Lead Learner for the Toronto District School Board who is passionate about reaching all students by integrating purposeful tech tools in the classroom. Through co-teaching and leading workshops, Shannon has worked with educators across Ontario to support the integration of technology in the classroom. Understanding student needs, ensuring content is accessible and building a strong classroom community are all at the forefront of Shannon's pedagogical values. Shannon enjoys coaching robotics, facilitating coding clubs and coaching various athletic teams.
