CITE SIMULTANEOUSLY AS YOU ARE WORKING ON THE ASSIGNMENT
When working on the assignment and citations, work on them simultaneously. If you work on the citations at the end, it can be incredibly confusing. It can lead to problems such as not being able to find the sources that you used for your content, having confusing in-text citations, and more. It is a lot simpler to cite as you work.
REMEMBER TO CITE IMAGESÂ
A lot of people forget to cite images. It is important to remember that everything that wasn't yours must be cited.
PUT CITATIONS AT THE END OF THE USED SENTENCE, ESPECIALLY IN WRITTEN WORK SUCH AS AN ESSAY.
This is important for written work, such as essays, reports, research, etc. For presentations and slides, there is more flexibility, and you should be able to put the citation in the corner of your work instead.
DON'T USE UNRELIABLE SOURCES
Wikipedia, blogs, TikTok, etc., are not reliable sources. For an academic assignment, it is better to find sources that are more reliable. This can be, books, educational websites, or articles written by professionals. Additionally, government websites will always be reliable. Sources ending in .gov and .ca will automatically be considered as credible.
