AP Application Process

1. Completing the Online AP Application 

• Have your FINAL grade 7 report card and grade 8 Progress Report ready to upload. 

2. Pay the Non Refundable Application Fee 

A $50 Non Refundable Registration fee is due at time of application by one of the following methods:

• • Cash or cheque made out to the school (St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS)

  • Online payment through School Day (See Instructions HERE)

**Please note that applicants who have not paid their application fee will not be considered.

All candidates (parents/guardians) will be notified on DECEMBER 15, 2025 whether they have been accepted, declined, or waitlisted into the AP program.

Applicants will have until JANUARY 4, 2025 BY 11:59 PM to ACCEPT or DECLINE offers. **Please note that if you do not accept the offer by this date, your child's spot will NOT be reserved and we will move to the next candidate. 

• Existing York Catholic DSB students:

  1. Ensure you have completed the Transitional Registration Form (S1B) which was already emailed to families October 20, 2025. 

  2. Upon acceptance of an AP offer from SMK, YCDSB students will automatically be enrolled in the school.

• Students NEW to York Catholic DSB:

  1. Upon acceptance of an AP offer from SMK, the school will send you a registration link.
