Purpose:
To learn how Levitation is being used in the world of photography;
To make connections from levitation to real-world uses;
To create levitation photographs inspired by other amateur and professional photographers.
In this image, I think I made the best parts were the floating stumps that added a lot to the image and made the illusion of me being beamed up into the sky a lot more convincing. I also think my pose is very dynamic, as I am holding onto the stump try to keep myself from rising into the sky. Some harder parts was making the beam look realistic, but as this was just my rough draft I decided to stick with what I had.
I this image, I think the best part was the shadow I created with no tutorial completely from scratch. I did this by copy-pasting myself, then filling myself in black, lowering myself into the ground then lowering the opacity. Some of the hardest parts were finding the correct sizing of the other objects in the background, but I changed the sizes a lot until I found sizes that I think look pretty good.
