Purpose:
To learn to see the world in a different way;
To practice the compositional strategy: Leading lines.
I took this photo because it was a very calm and beautiful scene that I knew I had to capture. The horizon as a leading line helps the viewer scan the entire photograph, and see the photo in its entirety.
I took this photo because my neighborhood looked very calm and snowy, and my brother walking in the distance added to the calmness of the photo. The patches of snow on the road work very well as leading lines, as they help the viewer scan the entire photograph from top to bottom.
I took this photo because the sky looked very beautiful, and I wanted to capture the tranquility of the neighborhood also. The road works very well as a leading line, and it winds all the way to the back of the photo.
