I used the colors Cad Red, Lemon, Intense Blue, Burnt Umber, and Haines Grey
I felt like this piece was easily a step above my previous water colors works when it comes to neatness. I was often impacient when working on the abstract piece and some of my colors ended up bleeding into each other. That happened way less in this piece and when the color mixing did happen it was entirely intentional. It only took my two tries to get the reflection the way I wanted it in the water which shows a growth considering the fact that I was struggling to make it work when we were learning the new techniques. Keeping the rocks white when doing the reflection was difficult and I feel that's where my painting falls a little short but I do feel satisfied with how they turned out overall and the piece overall.
