Realistic self portrait

• Purpose:

• To use the correct facial proportions to draw yourself as accurately as you can;

• To draw the individual features, eyes, nose, mouth in a convincing 3D way;

• To use graphite and a stomp to show value changes and dimension.

• Look at your pre-instructional self portrait with your final self portrait. What do you notice and what did you learn?     i notice that my shading and detail have gotten much better than when i started, and i have learned that good art takes time and practice to make it look beautiful. and if things dont suceed on your first try, that only means you will improve from there! what i think i could take away from this project is that practice makes perfect, at first you don't succeed, try, try again, and good art takes patience and time.
